So what is Powertex?

Powertex is a liquid fabric hardener, paint and glue all in one. It is environmentaly friendly, non toxic (can be used by adults and children), and is water based so you can clean brushes in warm soapy water easily.
Powertex is applied in mixed media art for limitless creative options. Transform flat canvases into dynamic 3D creations or sculpt intricate figures.

The liquid can be used on its own to cover natural fabrics such as muslin, cotton, or hessian. Coating the fabric with powertex and letting it dry results in a hard finish. More texture from folds and creases in the fabric enhances the color and depth of your work.


Enhancing your projects with additional textural components such as lace or other natural fibers like cardboard introduces intriguing elements to your work.


Powertex comes in 10 different colours White, Ivory, Black, Bronze, Grey, Blue, Red, Yellow, Terracotta and transparent giving you lots of versatility with the base colour.

Powertex can be combined with other products along with the liquid to create distinctive textures and effects like Stone Art, providing your work with a stone-like appearance and 3D flex, mixing with any color Powertex and allowing it to dry can result in captivating cracks in your work

Power smooth serves as a thickening agent for Powertex, perfect for piping onto workpieces to create depth and dimension.

Each product used different techniques to produce different effects resulting in work unlike any other. Add colour to your work using a dry brushing technique and you create outstanding individual work.
